I’ve become increasingly interested in exploring what future learning experiences might look like for learners, especially within higher education. Because of this interest, I was able to serve on a research initiative to explore what students really wanted from their academic experience. The result of this collaboration is a paper that has been published in the American Journal of Distance Education. The publication is titled “What Students Want: A Vision of a Future Online Learning Experience Grounded in Distance Education Theory.”
